Do you have to wear shoes there in the hotel? James E. In other words, a block of rooms would be reserved by the Hotel for the WRG, at our special rate. Individuals interested in attending would contact the hotel directly and mention the WRG reunion to make their room reservation and receive the special rate. ALL financial transactions are processed between each WRG member and the hotel directly. The hotel would normally hold the block of rooms until a predetermined date (usually three weeks before the event), after that cutoff date, the room availablility and rate would not be guaranteed. This simple process is typical in the industry and works well for weddings and other large gatherings. The Sheraton Lexington sounds good, the rate and location are fine. Thanks for your great work! At very most, as we get to the point where we have to make a deposit, we may ask everyone to send in the requisite amount in the form of a check, all of which we can give to the hotel to deposit. Once we start handling money, we're entering a legal quagmire that I'd rather avoid. LYN Chris Branagan wrote: > Hi Lyn, > > This lady is asking about our willingness to handle money for the > group.
