From: Tim Doyle <tim -at-> Subject: Re: [WHITNEY-L] Re: unconnected whitneys in virginia Date: Wed, 6 Mar 2002 07:46:06 -0600 (CST) In-Reply-To: <003401c1c50d$7b814280$b556f7a5@D88MZ011> Jeanne: The email you forwarded did not include Roberta's email address - could you pass this on to her? Roberta states that she has not found any Whitneys in Virginia. However, I find 23 Whitney families listed on the 1850 census in VA. Technical difficulties have prevented the 1880 census for Virginia to be put online, but hopefully we'll have that solved soon. To do any more searching, I'd really like to have some more information. Was Louise Diana Whitney her maiden or married name? What was the name of her husband? What was the name of the daughter born in 1884. When was Louise born? Any information or relationships might help to place this woman in time and place which would help in our ability to search for her. Thanks!
