The last I have much on is my grandfather, Charles Francis Whitney, presumably only child. His Dad was Charles Whitney. CFW was born in St. Louis,MO, 8.20.1866, his father was a banker. Seems all govt. records were lost in a large fire. They moved to Victoria BC after bank failed. And his Indian mother went back to live with family in Calgary. Originally from Massachusetts, maybe Worcester area. CFW married Mary E. Clark from Gloucester later. > I would appreciate any suggestions or info to find CFW's ancestors. > >
