From: ALLAGREEN -at- aol.com Subject: [WHITNEY-L] Re: Decendants of Asa Whitney (5) Date: Sat, 3 May 2003 01:15:02 EDT Hi Ron, and welcome to the Whitney Research Group. We are always happy to have any of the lines extended when they only go down so far as the fifth generation. If the list of fathers and sons that you sent me is all you have available, we'll appreciate that much. However, what would be even more wonderful would be more information on each, including their wives and other children (family groups), with some indications of the source of the various items of data like birth, marriage and death dates. I have the CD set of the Vital Records of MA to 1850, and could supply some of the material IF I could be steered to the right towns where these people lived. Further, our policy is not to post any specific data about living persons, so you would probably want to remove the dates for all family members still living. Most people simply write either "living" or "private" in the date spaces for those. If I can help you in any way with ideas or suggestions, please feel free to write to me with specific questions. Again, welcome. Always happy to find new cousins. Allan E. Green
