From: "Jo Hogle" <JLHogle50 -at- msn.com> Subject: Re: [WHITNEY-L] Remove - CORRECTION Date: Mon, 6 Mar 2006 07:56:11 -0600 References: <003501c63fee$2ba77940$641de148@rochester.rr.com> <BAY102-DAV11E8112DE1099847B745AEA0E90@phx.gbl> Michael forgot to mention that to unsubscribe (or subscribe) from ANY Rootsweb mailing list, you need to put the single word unsubscribe (or subscribe) in the BODY of the email as well as the subjuect line. It must be in both places for the automated reader to read and execute the function requested. Also, be sure you have turned off your automated signatures so that the body of the message contains only that single word. This is true for all Rootsweb lists to which you subscribe. To unsubscribe to the list send an email to WHITNEY-L-request -at- rootsweb.com<mailto:WHITNEY-L-request -at- rootsweb.com<mailto:WHITNEY-L-request -at- rootsweb.com<mailto:WHITNEY-L-request -at- rootsweb.com>> In the subject line put; Unsubscribe Send the email and that's it. Also if something's been up with your email account and you might have bounced a lot of emails the server will drop you from the mailing list. If that happens send an email to the above address but put; Subscribe In the subject line. I'm not getting any answers to my questions and I'm getting to many E-mails for other things that I don't need answers to. Please send me info on how I can unsubscribe. I have however found the information I've read very interesting, I'm just getting overloaded with E-mail. Thank you for your help.
