From: "The Fahrnbruchs" <sfahrnbr -at- adelphia.net> Subject: [WHITNEY] Which Widow Sarah WHITNEY Died in 1746 in Weston? Date: Sat, 7 Oct 2006 15:31:49 -0700 This Sarah Whitney is wife #2 of Nathaniel (John, John) Whitney. Proof of her identity is in the inventory of the estate of Thomas Goble, dated 19 May 1727. Near the bottom it states " the widow and her present husband Nathaniel Whitney." (Salt Lake City FHL # 521774, Vol. 18 : 171, Probate Records Middlesex Co., MA 1648-1924) Thomas Goble married Sarah Shepard on 4 Jan 1685/6 in Concord, Middlesex, MA (Concord, MA Births, Marriages & Deaths 1635-1850: 27) Thomas Goble died 10 Mar 1723/24. (Concord, MA Births, Marriages & Deaths 1635-1850: 104) This puts her marriage to Nathaniel Whitney between 10 Mar 1723/24 and 19 May 1727. So the Sarah Whitney who died in 1746 was Sarah (Shepard)(Goble) Whitney. Hope this helps someone. Sandy Fahrnbruch
