He married secondly, 22 Sep 1867, St. Charles, MI, '''Mary Elizabeth Miller''', daughter of John and Sarah (Davis) Miller. She was born 21 Mar 1848, Tuscarawas Co., OH, and died after Feb 1874.

Phoenix says the following:
:". . . a carpenter and joiner . . . . They dwelt at St. Charles till 1 Feb. 1868; at Victor, Mich., till 20 Sept. 1869; at Oakley, Mich., till 19 Feb. 1870; and then moved to Maple Rapids, Mich., where they were living in Feb. 1874."
