His own, dated at Henton, in the parish of Chinnor, co. of Oxford, Dec. 20, 1575, was proved at Oxford, Mar. 10, 1575-6. Mentions his cousin, Thomas Whitney. His father bequeathed to him his part of a farm, that he held in connection with his son-in-law, John Browne. (Quere: Was this farm in Chinnor?)

He married '''Joan Goodchild''', daughter of ----- and Johan Goodchild, of Chinnor. Named in her mother's will, dated Oct. 4, 1544; also in her husband's will.
