Y., 10 Nov. 1835, Eliza Grimwood, of Albany, born in Suffolk, England, dau. of Isaac and Susanna (Cooper) Grimwood. He settled in Poughkeepsie; and, in 1849, went to California, where he resided, for several years, in San Juan, and was a justice of the peace, or alcalde, and postmaster. He was living at Stockton, Cal., in 1874."
