She apparently never married. If she did, her husband must have died soon. No relatives appear with her in the censuses, with the possible exception of Sally O. Underhill, whose relationship to her is unclear. She had no known children.

Sally O. Underhill, b. ca. 1796-1797, Dutchess Co., NY, d. Mar 1883, in 1870 was living in Genoa alone. She appears in the 1880 census of Genoa, aged 84, a widow, boarding with the family of Ezra Wager, b. 13 Sep 1799, Tompkins Co., NY, d. 15 Sep 1884. His and her parents were all born in NY. He probably wasn't her brother, nor was his wife Elizabeth H., since she was born in NJ. "Sarah" Underhill, Ezra Wager, and Elizabeth H. Wager were all also buried in the Belltown Cemetery, Genoa Co., NY.
