Vol. Infantry ("Wilson Zouaves"); and was discharged at New York, 25 June 1863, with his regiment, having taken part in the battle of Santa Rosa Island, the bombardment of Forts McRae and Barancas, and engagements at Port Hudson, Irish Bend, Vermilion Bayou, and other places in the Red River expedition."
