was born 2 Dec 1841, Sharpsboro, KY, and died 6 Nov 1887, Los Angeles Co., CA. He is buried in Angelus Rosedale Cemetery, Los Angeles, CA.{{ref|1}}

He married, 22 Jun 1868, Fleming Co., KY, '''Alice Christine Weis''', daughter of Daniel Keller and Hannah (Throop) Weis. She was born 8 Jan 1843, IN, and died 11 Aug 1932, Los Angeles, CA. She is buried in Angelus Rosedale Cemetery, Los Angeles, CA.{{ref|2}}

In 1860 he was a medical student, in 1870 a minister, and in 1880 a physician. By 1884, he had moved to Los Angeles, CA.
