He married, 3 Sep 1874, Westford, MA, Caroline Maria Hutchins, daughter of Eliakim, Jr., and Eunice7 (Whitney) Hutchins.[1] She was born 8 Dec 1851, Westford, MA, and died after 1900.
Children of Emery J.10 and Caroline Maria (Hutchins) Whitney:
i. Jay Emory11 Whitney, b. 10 Aug 1888, Westford, MA;[2] d. 16 Nov 1888, Westford, MA, aged 3 months 8 days, of convulsions.[3]
