Emery J.¹⁰ Whitney (Roderick B.⁹, Solomon⁸, David⁷, Silas⁶, David⁵, Benjamin⁴, Thomas³, Thomas², John¹), son of Roderick B.⁹ and Cleora (Shelters) Whitney, was born about 1849, Highgate, VT.

He married, 3 Sep 1874, Westford, MA, Caroline Maria Hutchins, daughter of Eliakim, Jr., and Eunice⁷ (Whitney) Hutchins.^[1] She was born 8 Dec 1851, Westford, MA.

Children of Emery J.¹⁰ and Caroline Maria (Hutchins) Whitney:

i.	Jay Emory11 Whitney, b. 10 Aug 1888, Westford, MA;[2] d. 16 Nov 1888, Westford, MA, aged 3 months 8 days, of convulsions.[3]
