30. Ebenezer5 Sanderson (Ebenezer4, John3, Jonathan2, Edward1) was born in Leicester 5 March 1748 (Vital Records) and baptized 17 April 1748 (Spencer Vital Records). The place of his death is unknown.
He married 4 Dec. 1777, Abigail Upham of Spencer (Frederick W. Bailey, Early Massachusetts Marriages, 1900, 1:65), daughter of Jacob and Sarah (Stower) Upham, born 24 Jan. 1756 (Spencer Vital Records.) [snip]

31. Hezekiah5 Sanderson (Ebenezer4, John3, Jonathan2, Edward1), born 4 March 1750 (Leicester Vital Records; D.A.R. Patriot Index), died in Westminster, Vt., 4 Oct. 1820 (Vermont Vital Records). He is buried in the south part of the Page farm. He married first, 24 Aug. 1780 in Leicester, Elizabeth Pain (Vital

Records), daughter of Jabez and Elizabeth (Hubbard) Paine, born 23 May 1761, died in 1785, probably at the birth of her son Samuel or shortly thereafter at Westminster, Vt. He married secondly, 26 May 1785 in spencer, Lucy Upham (Spencer Vital Records), daughter of Jacob and Zerviah Upham of that town, born there 1 July 1765 (James Draper, History of Spencer, Mass., 1860, p. 253). He is called "of Westminster" in the record. [snip]

  i. Samuel6, b. 1785; d. 28 May 1847 at Westminster (Westminster, Vt., Vital Records); mar. 26 June 1815, Charlotte Parker, b. 1798, d. 1837 (ibid.). The identification of Samuel as the son of the first wife comes frmt he lineage papers of Lucy Whitney Doane, great-granddaughter of Samuel Sanderson, wherein he is named as the son of Elizabeth Pain (D.A.R. Lineage Book, 95:47).
  ii. Daniel (by Lucy Upham), b. say betwen 1786-1790 (from his age at the 1800 census); mar. 28 March 1815 Prudence Gray (Westminster, Vt., Vital Records).
? iii. A daughter, b. say between 1788-90 (from the 1800 census)
32. Israel5 Sanderson (Ebenezer4, John3, Jonathan2, Edward1), born 6 Nov. 1755 (Leicester Vital Records), died 2 March 1806 at Westminster, Vt. (Vermont Vital Records).
He married 9 Nov. 1784, Relief Rice (Bailey, op. cit., 1:89), daughter of Silas and Copia (Broughton) Rice, born in Westboro, 28 March 1753, died in Townshend, Vt., 28 Feb. 1840 (Andrew Henshaw Ward, A Genealogical History of the Rice Family ..., 1858, p. 74; Vermont Vital Records). She is buried in the Sanderson Cemetery. [snip]

His widow was granted a pension, W20043. In 1859 his daughter applied for his widow's pension and her claim was allowed. (D.A.R. Lineage Book, 66:177).

35. Isaac5 Sanderson (Abraham4, Samuel3, Jonathan2, Edward1) was born in Lunenburg 2 June 1738, and died there 26 March 1814 (Town Records).
He married 3 March 1778, Elizabeth Peabody, daughter of Thomas Peabody and his wife, Ruth Cole, born 5 Jan. 1744, died 7 Feb. 1821. [snip]

46. Stephen5 Sanderson (Moses4, Samuel3, Jonathan2, Edward1), born in Littleton 24 Aug. 1758 (Town Records), died at Waterford, Maine, 9 June 1839; buried in the Elm Vale Cemetery.
He married Mary Dudley, daughter of Samuel and Rebecca (Hayward) Dudley at Littleton or Action, born 27 Feb. 1760, died at Waterford 8 Feb. 1845.

In 1788 the family moved from Acton to Waterford, settling in the southwest part of town near the Sweden line. [snip]

John Adams Vinton in The Giles Memorial (1864), page 508, lists among the children of David4 Webb and his wife Jane Snelling a son David5, born about 1717, married in Boston 2 Nov. 1738, Mary Williams, possibly the daughter of Joshua and Mary Williams, born in Boston 14 May 1717, or of Benjamin and Elizabeth Williams, born there 26 Sept. 1719 (Report of the Record Commissioners: Boston Births, 24:126, 141). We have been unable to positively identify her.
David Webb was the grandson of Peter3 Webb (Christopher2, Christopher1) of Braintree who married Ruth3 Bass, daughter of Ruth (Alden) Bass and granddaughter of John and Priscilla Alden of the Mayflower. [snip]
Capt. David Webb married secondly, at Weathersfield, 20 May 1750, Mary Bulkeley, daughter of Charles and Mary (Sage) Bulkeley, born at Wethersfield 9 June 1725, died there 2 Dec. 1762 (Donald Lines Jacobus, Rev. Peter Bulkeley (1933), p. 263; Edward Sweetser Tillotson, Wethersfield Inscriptions: Rocky Hill Cemetery (1899), p. 273). She is called "first wife of Capt. David Webb" on the gravestone.
He married thirdly, about 1763, Mary Grimes, daughter of Hezekiah and Abigail (Smith) Grimes, born about 1717, died in Rocky Hill, 6 Aug. 1808 "aged 81 years." She is called "2-d wife of Capt. David Webb" (Tillotson, op. cit.). [snip]

  1. Esther6, b. at Wethersfield about 1753; d. there before 24 Nov. 1777; mar. at Rocky Hill 5 Nov. 1772, Joseph Neff, d. 8 April 1774. He has not been identified. The widow Esther Neff was appointed executrix of her husband's estate but died before an accounting was made, and the administration passed to Joseph Grimes, Jr. Two inventories were taken, one in May 1774, another 17 Oct. 1777 at the decease of Esther [snip].
