T(estament) nuncupative of Anne Whitney: "In the name of God Amen; The eight daie of December Anno Domini One thowsand sixe hundred and tenne Anne Whitney of the parishe of St. Andrewes in London widowe deceased made published and declared her last will and testament nuncupative onely by worde of mouthe in manner and forme followinge (That is to saie) First she gave and bequeathed unto her youngest sonne Thomas Whitney all her goodes and chattells whatsoever willinge him to deliver ^ unto her seconde sonne Robert Whitney one silver maudelyn cupp and twoe silver spoones And unto her mayden servaunt Elizabeth Aldeworth then dwellinge with her at the tyme of her decease twentie shillinges in money and some parte of her wearing apparrell and lynnen at his discretion. The rest and residue of her goodes and chattells as aforesaid she willed and bequeathed unto her aforesaid sonne Thomas Whitney in the presence and hearinge of Nicholas Rowland gent of the parishe of St. Botolphes without Aldersgate London the aforementioned Elizabeth Aldeworth and others: Nicholas Rowland Elizabeth Aldworth."
Decimo quarto die mensis decembris anno domini millesimo sexcentesimo decimo emanavit commissio Thome Whitney filio naturali et legitimo Anne Whitney nuper parochie Sancti Andree in Holborne Civitatis Londonie defuncte habentis dum vixit et mortis sue tempore bona Jura sive credita in diversis diocesis sive jurisdictionibus ad administrandum bona iura et credita dicte defuncte iuxta tenores et effectum testamenti nuncupativi huiusmodi eo quod nullum omnino in eodem nominaverit executorem de bene &c Juratus &c.
