II. Catharine Louisa Whitney, b. in Albany, N. Y., 30 Ap. 1846; married there, in the State Street Presbyterian Church, 14 Jan. 1874, by Rev. John James, to George Horatio Redway, of Albany, a merchant, son of Abel and Sally Charlotte (Grinnell) Redway, of Adams, N. Y., where he was born 13 Sept. 1844. They settled in Albany, and were living there in June 1877.

III. Anna Mary Whitney, b. in Albany, N. Y., 7 May 1848; married there, 9 Jan. 1872, Abram Merritt Bininger, a wine-merchant, who was born in New York City, 23 June 1842, son of Abram Merritt and Maria (Long) Bininger. They dwelt in New York City for one year; and then moved to Buffalo, N. Y., where they were living in 1874. Their home was at Brooklyn, N. Y., in June 1877.
