8135 II. Henry Tilford, b. in Southeast, N. Y., 27 Nov. 1838; died there, 2 Apr. 1842, and was buried in Drew Cemetery.
8136 III. William Henry Tilford, b. in Southeast, N. Y., 6 Nov. 1842; a farmer; married at Lake Mahopac, in Carmel, N.Y., 23 Sept. 1868, by Rev. Harvey Alley, Baptist, to Louisa Ann Light, who was born in Kent, N.Y., 9 July 1832, dau. of Knight and Sarah Jane (Smalley) Light. They settled at Lake Mahopac, and moved, 1 Ap. 1872, to Alford, Mass., where they were living in March 1874. He enlisted, 11 Aug. 1863, for disability, at Camp Barry, Maryland Heights; and was employed by the Quartermaster's department, at Chattanooga, Tenn., from 7 July 1864 to 15 March 1865.
8137 IV. Chloe Ann Tilford, b. in Southeast, N. Y., 7 Oct. 1844; married in the Methodist Episcopal Church at Lake Mahopac, in Carmel, N. Y., 26 Nov. 1863, by Rev. William Stevens, to Joseph Townsend Secord, a carriage-smith, son of Townsend and Phebe (Carpenter) Secord, of Secord's Corners, in Carmel. He was born in Elizabeth Street, New York City, 29 Jan. 1842. They passed four years at Lake Mahopac; dwelt in Brewster's, N. Y., for one year; and, in 1868, moved to Croton Falls, N. Y., where they were living in Feb. 1874. 15481

Y., 20 Sept. 1846; a hatter; married, 8 Oct. 1867, Hannah Doughty; married (2d), 2 June 1872, at Lake Mahopac, Mary Julia Carver, dau. of Stephen W. and Juliette (Ballard) Carver, of Carmel, N. Y., where she was born 10 Jan. 1852. They dwelt at Carmel till 1 June 1873; at Haverhill, Mass., till 27 Oct 1874; at Yonkers, N. Y., till 10 July 1875; and then settled at Brewster's Station, N. Y., where they were living in Feb. 1876. 15482
8139 II. William Weston Townsend, b. near Brewster's Station, N. Y., 2 Feb. 1850; a salesman; married in his father's house at Brewster's Station, 14 Dec. 1874, Nerissa Desdemona Weston, dau. of George and Harriet (Townsend) Weston, of New York, where she was born, at 354 Hudson Street, 22 Aug. 1851. They settled at Brewster's Station, and were living there in June 1875.
