10097 I. Isaac Washington Gay, b. at Patterson, N. Y., 22 July 1837; a teacher and physician; grad. at the Eclectic Medical College of Philadelphia, Penn., in 1870; was living with his parents, at Candor, N. Y., in Dec. 1874, unmarried.
10098 II. William Henry Harrison Gay, b. at Patterson, N. Y., 13 Feb. 1841; a telegrapher; served under the Sanitary Commission, in Virginia, during the war of 1861; married at Bound Brook, N. J., 13 Feb. 1867, Philena Catharine Cole. They were living at Syracuse, N. Y., in Feb. 1874. He was then superintendent of the Atlantic and Pacific Telegraph, from Cleveland, Ohio, to New York City.
10099 III. Martha Maria Gay, b. at Patterson, N. Y., 4 May 1843; died near Dykeman's Station, in Southeast, N. Y., 6 July 1848; and was buried in the cemetery east of the Baptist Church, in Carmel, N. Y.
10100 IV. Mary Etta Gay, b. near Dykeman's Station, in Southeast, N. Y., 2 Jan. 1848; and was living with her parents, unmarried, at Candor, N. Y., in Feb. 1874.
10101 V. Lilian Gay, adopted 5 May 1869. She was born at Owego, N. Y., 13 Sept. 1868.
