2121 I. Sarah Elizabeth Hobart, b. in New York City, 20 Dec. 1827; married, 22 Jan. 1851, at her father's residence, 6 Carlisle Street, New York, by Rev. Richard S. Storrs, Jr., D. D., Congregational, pastor of the Church of the Pilgrims, Brooklyn, N. Y., to George Woolworth Colton, a cartographer and publisher, of New York, who was born in Lenox, Mass., 22 Sept. 1727, son of Joseph Hutchins and Orilla Clarissa (Burnham) Colton, and g. son of Calvin and Clarissa (Northrop) Burnham,1 of Bloomfied, Conn. They lived in Brooklyn, N. Y., for twelve years; and then moved to Orange, N. J., where she died 25 March 1865, and was buried in Greenwood Cemetery. He was living at Orange in 1873, his place of business being at 172 William Street, New York. 6617
2122 II. John William Hobart, b. at 112 Cedar Street, New York city, 5 Sept. 1831; a broker; married, 3 March 1859, in Hoyt Street, Brooklyn, N. Y., by Rev. Joel E. Rockwell, D. D., pastor of the Central Presbyterian Church in Brooklyn, to Agnes Victoria Smith, born in Washington Street, New York, 9 July 1837, dau. of John Preston and Agnes (Moir) Smith.2 They were living, in June 1876, at Orange, N. J. 6620

2123 I. Elizabeth Ann Clark, b. in New York City, 29 Dec. 1823; married, 16 March 1848, at her father's house near Aiken, S. C., by Rev. William Hard, Baptist, to Sidney Smith Wise, born 3 July 1823, at his father's plantation, called Rocky Falls, on Little Horse Creek, Edgefield Dist., S. C., son of John and Elizabeth (Glover) Wise. He served in the Confederate army, in the war of 1861, as private, lieutenant, and captain. The family suffered severely in the war, as their home lay in Gen. Sherman's route to the sea. They settled at Blackville, S. C., where he died, 30 Nov. 1875, and was buried. She was living there, in Ap. 1876. 6623
2124 II. William Clark, b. in New York City, 11 Nov. 1825; died in Norwalk, Conn., an infant, and was buried there.
