2125 III. Mary Caroline Clark, b. in New York City, 31 May 1827; married, 4 Jan. 1849, near Aiken, S. C., by Rev. William Hard, Baptist, to John Wiley Glover, a planter, born on his father's plantation in Beach Island, S. C., 29 June 1825, son of Wade and Caroline (Cox) Glover. He enlisted at Barnwell, S. C., in Co. G, 22d Reg., S. C. Artillery, and served for two years, defending the coast, until the Confederate army retreated and the regiment was disbanded at Smithfield, N. C. They were living at Aiken, in Sept. 1874. 6631
2126 IV. William James Clark, b. in New York City; died there, while an infant; and was buried in Norwalk, Conn.
2127 V. Jannette Clark, b. in New York City, 11 Nov. 1830; married, 6 Aug. 1856, at her father's home near Blackville, S. C., by Rev. Mr. Ray, Baptist, to John Paul Jones, a planter, whose parents lived in Edgefield, S. C. He was born near St. Stephen's, Ala., 23 Nov. 1819, son of John and Elizabeth (Waldrum) Jones. He settled near Richmond, Alabama, and was living there in 1873. 6632
2128 VI. Margaret Augusta Clark, b. in New York City; died there, while in infancy; and was buried in Norwalk, Conn.
2129 VII. Joseph Clark, b. in New York City; died in Norwalk, Conn., in infancy; and was buried there.
2130 VIII. Isabel Frances Clark, b. in Norwalk, Conn., 2 Oct. 1838; married, 25 Jan. 1859, at her father's house near Blackville, S. C., by Rev. Alexander Stephens, Methodist, to John Washington Shelton, a dentist, born at Pittsylvania, Va., 2 Ap. 1825, son of Washington and Susan (Williams) Shelton. He served as a private in the Confederate army, throughout the war of 1861. They were living at Blackville, S. C., in 1873. 6634

2131 I. Rebecca Whitney, b. at Bridgeton, N.J., 13 May 1833; died in Richmond Street, below Shackamaxon Street, Philadelphia, 16 May 1851; and was buried in Hanover Street Vault, Philadelphia.
2132 II. John William Whitney, b. at Bridgeton, N.J., 15 Oct. 1834; died, 15 Feb. 1836, in Frankford Road, below Girard Avenue, Philadelphia; and was buried in Hanover Street Vault, Philadelphia.
