2857 VI. Harriet Jane Cook, b. at Cohocton, N. Y., 21 May 1833; died at Cohocton, 26 Aug. 1834, and was buried there.
2858 VII. ----- Cook, , a son, b. at Cohocton, N. Y., 22 Aug. 1835; died 25 Aug. 1835, and was buried at Cohocton.
2859 VIII. Edwin Constant Cook, b. at Liberty, in Cohocton, N. Y., 12 Oct. 1838; a banker; married in Rochester, N. V., 27 Oct. 1863, Mary Adelaide DeWitt, who was born at Dundee, N. Y., 17 Ap. 1841, dau. of Frederick Stidd and Martha Wheeler (Hinckley) DeWitt, from Delaware Co., N. Y. They settled at Bath, N. Y., and were living there in Ap. 1874. 8116

2860 I. Henry Whitney, b. in Southeast, N. Y., 21 Oct. 1808; a farmer; married in 1831, at Croton Falls, N. Y., Lydia Knapp, dau. of Brundage and Lydia (Bishop) Knapp, of Starr's Ridge, in Southeast, and formerly of North Salem, N. Y., where she was born, 29 May 1809. They settled in Southeast, where he died 12 Sept. 1848, and was buried in the Drew Cemetery, near the south-west corner of the town. She married (2d), 16 Aug. 1866, Rufus Fancher, of Ridgefield, Conn.; and they were living there in Jan. 1875. 8117
2861 II. Abigail Whitney, b. in Southeast, N. Y., 30 Sept. 1810; married there, 15 Jan. 1828, by S. Finch, Esq., to Isaac Tilford, a farmer, who was born at Southeast, 17 June 1803, son of George and Lavinia (Mathews) Tilford. They settled at Southeast Centre, and were living there in Jan. 1874. 8124
2862 III. Leonard Clifton Whitney, b. in Southeast, N. Y., 16 Nov. 1812; a farmer; married, 4 Sept. 1841, in Patterson, N. Y., Betsey Ann Kinner, dau. of Thomas and Mercy (Nickerson) Kinner, of Patterson, where she was born 10 Oct. 1819. He died at Patterson, 5 Jan. 1850, and was buried there, in the Friends' Cemetery. She married (2d), Reuben Tompkins, and was living in Danbury, Conn., in Feb. 1875. 8130
2863 IV. Clarissa Whitney, b. in Southeast, N. Y., 21 Feb. 1815; married, 23 Ap. 1835, at Carmel, N. Y., by Stephen Pinckney, Esq., to Joseph Tilford, a farmer, who was born in Somers, N. Y., 27 July 1809, son of George and Lavinia (Mathews) Tilford. They settled in Southeast, where he died 10 Aug. 1844. She was living at Croton Falls, N. Y., in Jan. 1874. 8134
