5234 VI. Ann Maria Finley, b. at Easton, Penn., 8 May 1818; joined the Shakers at New Lebanon, N. Y., and died there, 23 Dec. 1843, unmarried.
5235 VII. William Finley, b. at Easton, Penn., 8 Aug. 1820; a ship-chandler, of New York City; married Lily Jennings, of New York; died without children, at Tremont, N. Y., 6 Jan. 1868; and was buried in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport, Conn.
5236 VIII. Cornelia Heyer Finley, b. at Easton, Penn., 21 June 1822; married at Port Chester, N. Y., 28 May 1844, Horatio Nelson Howard, a furrier, who was born in Vermont, about 1811. They dwelt at Brooklyn, N. Y., till 1853; and then lived on a farm in Washington Valley, North Plainfield, N. J., where they died (she, 28 Nov. 1858; he, 4 Ap. 1871, aged 60), and were buried in the cemetery near the Baptist Church. 13054
5237 IX. Joseph Henry Riggs Finley, b. at Richmond, Penn., 8 Dec. 1824; joined the Shakers, at New Lebanon, N. Y., and died there, 2 May 1837. He was buried in the Shaker Family Cemetery.
5238 X. Susan Whitney Finley, b. at Derby, Conn., 27 Jan. 1827; married at Brooklyn, N. Y., 14 Aug. 1848, by Rev. E. L. Taylor, pastor of Second Baptist Church, to Henry Chaffee Franklin, an artist, son of Henry Tolman and Dorcas Elizabeth (Murdock) Franklin, deceased, of Brooklyn, N. Y., formerly of Brooklyn, Conn., where he was born 6 Oct. 1826. They dwelt at Holmdel, N. J., from 1 Sept. 1848 till Aug. 1849; at Buskirk's Bridge, N. Y., till July 1851; at Brooklyn, N. Y., till June 1862; and then moved to Meriden, Conn., where she died 30 Sept. 1865. She was buried in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport, Conn. She was "a devoted wife, mother and Christian, whose kind and loving nature, and total disregard of self, gained the love of all who knew her." He was married (2d), 24 Dec. 1866, at Wolcottville, Conn., by Rev. D. Sandford, Episcopal, to Harriet Louise Smith, dau. of Lyman Smith. She was born at Derby, 31 Aug. 1835; died at Meriden, 31 Jan. 1868; and was buried there with her child, who only lived twelve hours. He was married (3d), 10 Feb. 1870, at Wolcottville, by Rev. B. Eastwood, Episcopal, to Sarah Letitia Smith, born at Derby, 4 March 1829, sister of his second wife. They were living at Chicago, Ill., in Nov. 1875. 13063
5239 XI. Sarah Olivia Finley, b. at Derby, Conn., 23 Dec. 1830; married at Brooklyn, N. Y., 19 Aug. 1851, George Henry Moseman, a dealer in clothing, son of Willett and Lavinia (Coe) Moseman, of Port Chester, N. Y., where he was born 4 March 1828. They settled at Brooklyn. He died at Port Chester, of albuminuria, 28 July 1870, and was buried at 13068
