5442 V. Charles Lathrop, b. at Wolcott, Vt., 9 Oct 1836; a farmer, carpenter and joiner; married at Johnson, Vt., 22 March 1855, Caro1ine Sarah Page, dau. of John Hale and Sarah (Sherman) Page, of Cambridge, Vt., where she was born 11 March 1837. They dwelt at Waterville, Vt., in 1855 and 1856; at Lowell, Vt., in 1857 and 1858; at Bakersfield, Vt., in 1859; at Fairfield, Vt., in 1860; at Oregon, Wis., 1861 to 1867; and then moved to Forest, Wis. She died at Forest, 28 July 1872, and was buried there, in Vermont Cemetery. He married (2d), 21 Nov. 1873, at Hillsborough, Wis., Sarah Maria Dustin, born at Derby, Vt., 9 June 1847, dau. of Hoel and Lucy (Levings) Dustin. They were living at Forest in March 1875. He has been justice of the peace in that county. 13432

John Lathrop, b. at Cambridge, Vt., 3 Sept 1839; a carpenter, joiner and wheelwright; married there, 24 March 1861, Harriet Adelia Leach, dau. of John Josiah and Sarah Jane (Enslow) Leach, of Cambridge, where she was born 28 Aug. 1844. They dwelt at Cambridge for one year; at Fairfield, Vt., one year; at Bakersfield, Vt., five years; and then moved to Forest, Wis., where they were living in Dec. 1874. 13436
5444 VII. Napoleon Bonaparte Lathrop, b. at Cambridge, Vt., 28 May 1840; a farmer; married Nancy Jane Aldrich; and was living on the homestead at Cambridge, with his father, in 1873. He served in the war of 1861. 13438
5445 VIII. Lucy Ann Lathrop, b. at Cambridge, Vt., 27 July 1842; married there, 30 Sept 1863, by Rev. Edwin Wheelock, Congregational, to Luther Dickinson, a farmer, son of Ira and Martha (Story) Dickinson, of Underhill, Vt., where he was born 15 July 1836. They settled at Underhill, and were living there in 1874. 13441

Emily Rosette Whitney, b. at Pittsfield, N.H., 30 July 1837; married at Boston, Mass., 30 May 1861, Luther Melvin Underhill, a broker, son of Jesse and Mary (Brown) Underhill, of Chester, N.H., where he was born 22 June 1837. He died at Auburn, N.H., 22 Aug. 1869, and was buried there. She dwelt at one time in Manchester, N.H.; and in Sept 13444
