p. 94, #1209: Polly⁶ WHITNEY was born 27 Dec 1784, Manchester, MA, according to Manchester vital records.

p. 94, #1209: There were two daughters Lydia⁶ WHITNEY. The first was born 9 Aug 1788, Manchester, MA, according to Manchester vital records, and presumably died young. The second was born 20 Feb 1793, Goffstown, NH, according to Goffstown vital records. It must have been the second who married Isaac FLANDERS.

p. 94, #469: Jacob⁵ WHITNEY was born 24 Jul (not Feb) 1737, Roxbury, MA, according to Roxbury vital records.

p. 94, #1212: Moses⁶ WHITNEY married secondly widow Mary (PLUMMER) KITTREDGE, widow of John, according to Andover vital records.

p. 94, #1212-1217: The births of these children are not recorded in Roxbury vital records. Their baptisms, which are recorded, are consistent with these birth dates.

p. 94, #472: Abner⁵ WHITNEY married, 21 Mar 1768, Newton, MA, Esther Jackson, according to Roxbury vital records and Newton vital records. He married a second wife, Elizabeth -----, who died 14 Dec 1825, Springfield, VT, aged 74 years, according to the Vermont vital record index. None of his children are recorded.

p. 94, #1218-1223: The children in this family are rather incomplete, according to the LDS International Genealogical Index. (The births are not recorded in the published vital records of Massachusetts or the New Hampshire Birth Index.) That source gives the following list and birth dates for children by his first wife:
