Albert C. Whitney (Stephen M., Caleb, Caleb), son of Stephen M. and Ellen (Riley) Whitney, was born 16 Mar 1861, Lowell, MA,[1] and died 5 Feb 1884, Clinton, MA, aged 22 years, of phthisis.[2]

He married, 2 Jul 1881, Clinton, MA, Carrie E. Giles, daughter of Almond H. and Abigail Moore (Jelerson) Giles.[3] She was born about 1864, Waltham, ME, and died after 1910. She of Boston married secondly, 20 Nov 1889, Lowell, MA, Warren Foster Wheeler, born 3 Nov 1850, Plymouth, VT, son of Isaiah and Julia (Foster) Wheeler.[4]

Children of Albert C. and Carrie E. (Giles) Whitney:

i. Albert G. Whitney, b. 30 Mar 1884, Lowell; MA.[5] d. 15 Apr 1886, Lowell, MA, aged 2 years 15 days, of pneumonia.[6]
