Albert W.7 Whitney (Isaac6, Isaac5, Lemuel4, Moses3, Richard2, John1), son of Isaac6 and Abigail (Greeley) Whitney, was born 11 Jan 1822, Canaan, NH, and died 31 Mar 1897, Canaan, NH.[1][2]

He married 17 Oct 1842, Canaan, NH, Sarah W. Towle, daughter of John and Miriam (Watson) Towle. She was born 13 Aug 1822, Canaan, NH, and died 1 Oct 1907, Canaan, NH.[3][4]

ii. Clara A. Whitney, b. 16 Apr 1852, Canaan, NH; m. 11 Aug 1870, Canaan, NH, Joseph Tucker; d. 3 Jun 1909, Canaan, NH.[6][7]
iii. Mina W. Whitney, b. 12 Nov 1858, Canaan, NH; m. 24 Jun 1875, Hanover, NH, Henry C. Melendy; d. 6 Oct 1931, Enfield Center, NH.[8][9]
iv. Alice Medora Whitney, b. 21 Nov 1860, Canaan, NH;[10] d. 8 Jan 1946, Wentworth, NH; m.(1) 22 May 1876, Hanover, NH, Frank St. Clair;[11] m.(2) 10 Oct 1881, Rumney or Laconia, NH, Alden E. Hardy; they were divorced on 21 Nov 1891, on grounds of adultery. Alice and Alden were remarried 14 Mar 1894, Laconia, NH. In 1906, she was living in Concord, MA, at 4 Monroe St., as widow of Alden E. Hardy. He was b. 20 Nov 1859, Georgetown, MA, son of Jonathan Bailey and Catherine Hinkson (Hardy) Hardy, and d. 11 Mar 1903, Wentworth, NH, aged 43 years.[12][13][14]
