Alden Whitney (Benjamin), son of Benjamin and Jerusha (Brockway) Whitney, was born about 1775, and died 8 Jul 1822, Westminster, VT.

He married, 5 Jul 1803, Westminster, VT, Sarah Carpenter,^[1] daughter of Abel and Sarah (Phippen) Carpenter. She was born 2 Jan 1784, Westminster, VT, and died 22 Aug 1879, Le Ray, NY, aged 95 years 7 months 20 days.

This family are buried in the Sanford Corners Cemetery, Le Ray, NY.
