Alfred B. Whitney, parentage unknown (but see Note below), was born Jul 1857, NY, and died after 1900.

He married, about 1891, Mary "Mamie" Beardsley. She was born Dec 1864, CT, and died after 1900.

Children of Alfred B. and Mary "Mamie" (Beardsley) Whitney:

i.	Edna M. Whitney, b. Jan 1896, Bethel, CT; d. 20 Mar 1988, Danbury, CT; m. Harold Hendrix.
ii.	Eunice A. Whitney, b. Apr or 9 Sep 1899, CT; d. 4 Mar 1980, Woodbury, CT; bur. Roxbury, CT;[1] m. bef. 1915, William Garry Tuttle.

Notes

His daughter Edna was apparently the niece Edna, aged 13 who is listed in the family of Frank and Mabel (Camp) Whitney in the 1910 Census of New Milford, Litchfield Co., CT. This would make Frank Whitney (c1867-a1930) a brother of Alfred B. This connection is not without difficulty, however, since Frank's parents are listed as both born in CT, and Alfred 's as father b. in Canada West and mother in MA. If that is correct, then they cannot be even half-brothers.
