Alonzo⁷ Whitney (Samuel⁶, Elijah⁵, Abraham⁴, Isaiah³, Thomas², John¹), son of Samuel⁶ and Lucy (Handley) Whitney, was born 29 Nov 1826, Bolton, MA, and died 4 Jan 1910, West Boylston, MA, aged 83 years 1 month 5 days, of valvular heart disease.^[1]

He married, 25 Dec 1851, Clinton, MA, Sarah H. Coolidge, daughter of Silas and Judith (-----) Coolidge.^[2] She was born 29 Jun 1831, Berlin, MA.

He was a cooper; in 1855 resided Maxfield St., New Bedford, MA, and in 1861, Pleasant Ct., New Bedford.
