Asa⁷ Whitney (John⁶, John⁵, James⁴, Joseph³, Jonathan², John¹), son of John⁶ and Augusta (Fisk)(Brooks) Whitney, was born 4 May 1821, and died after 1880.

He married firstly, Jun 1842, Caroline P. Tyler. She was born about 1823, NY, and died between 1850 and 1858.

He married secondly, 4 Oct 1858, NY, Lydia Morian. She was born 24 Mar 1822, Dansville, NY, and died 8 Aug 1887, Burt, KS.

They resided Bert, KS.
