Asa6 Whitney (John5, John4, Isaiah3, Thomas2, John1), son of John5 and Elizabeth (Sawtell) Whitney, was bapt. 8 Feb 1767, Shirley, MA.[1]
Asa Whitney of Westminster in the County of Windham and State of Vermont for the consideration of ten pounds lawfull money ... paid by Eleazer Harlow of said Westminster ... the whole of the west half of the original ninety acre lot of land number one in the sixth range of ninety acre lots in Rockingham being equally divided by a northerly and southerly line through the middle of said lott ... this sixth day of March Anno Domini 1798. Signed by Asa Whitney, witnessed by Polly Hall and Lot Hall.[2]

- 1810: Not found in Vermont. May have died or moved west. There are two Asa Whitneys listed in New York.
