Asaph Blakely8 Whitney (Joseph7, Joshua6, Caleb5, Jonathan4, Richard3, Richard2, John1), son of Joseph7 and Nancy (Sawin) Whitney, was born 21 Aug 1817, Gardner, MA,[1] and died 1 Mar 1892, Gardner, MA, aged 74 years 6 months 10 days, of pneumonia.[2]
He married, 8 Jun 1853, Templeton, MA, Anna Marian Wallace, daughter of Nahum and Hannah M. (Bennett) Wallace.[3] She was born 7 Aug 1835, Hardwick (but recorded in Gardner), MA, and died 7 Mar 1913, Marlborough, NH, aged 77 years 6 months 27 days, of apoplexy. She married secondly, 17 Dec 1895, Gardner, MA, William H. H. Hinds, of Kennebunkport, ME.[4]
