Auren Joseph8 Whitney (Joshua Avery8, Joseph7, Joshua6, Caleb5, Jonathan4, Richard3, Richard2, John1), son of Joshua Avery8 and Mehitable C. (Gibbs) Whitney, was born 23 Feb 1853, Gardner, MA "Joseph Orrin",[1] and died 1922. He was buried in Needham Cemetery, Needham, MA.[2]

He married, 25 Dec 1884, Ashby, MA, Mary C. Wellington, dau. of Liberty & Caroline (Hurd) Wellington.[3] She was born 10 Jun 1853, Ashby, MA, and died 1936. She was buried in Needham Cemetery, Needham, MA.[4]

He resided Franklin, NJ, and Needham, MA.
