Celestia A. "Lettie" Whitney (Moses Bray8 Whitney, Salmon7, Moses6, Ephraim5, Moses4, Moses3, Richard2, John1), was born 01 08 1849, Lincolnville, ME, and died 01 21 1913, Rockland, ME.

He married 10 07 1866, Rockland, ME, James Edward Rhodes, daughter of Orris and Lucy A. (Woodbury) Rhodes. She was born 10 24 1846, Rockland, ME, and died 09 09 1921, Rockland, ME.

James Rhodes was a wool dealer. He served in the Civil War in Battery F, 1st Battalion, 6th Maine Light Artillery. For his service he received a pension from the U.S. Government. He and Lettie are both buried in the Achorn Cemetery, Rockland, ME.
