Charles⁸ Whitney (Ebenezer F.⁷, Peter⁶, Abraham⁵, Benjamin⁴, John³, Benjamin², John¹), son of Ebenezer F.⁷ and Sarah (Small) Whitney, was born 2 Aug 1841, Litchfield, ME, and died 21 May 1908. He is buried in Litchfield Plains Cemetery, Litchfield Plains, ME.^[1]

He married, 10 Jun 1865, Litchfield, ME, Hannah Olivia Chase,^[2] daughter of William and Mary Jane (Alexander) Chase. She was born Jul 1847, Litchfield, ME, and died 1916. She is buried in Litchfield Plains Cemetery, Litchfield Plains, ME.^[3]
