Charles Whitney, parentage unknown, was born say 1845, Bangor, ME, and died after 1871.
He married, before 1871, Mattie/Millie McC. -----. She was born say 1848, Penobscot, ME, and died after 1871.
In 1871 he was a trader living at 18 Hayward Place, Boston, MA.
Children of Charles and Mattie/Millie McC. (-----) Whitney:
i. Cyrus Whitney, b. 22 Dec 1871, Boston, MA;[1] d. 9 Jan 1872, Boston, MA, aged 18 days, of inannation.[2].
Notes
He may or may not be the same as Charles Henry Whitney (1850-1900). Both were born in Portland, ME, about the same time. If so, Mattie/Millie was a first wife who died before 1879, when he married Ellen Good.
