Charles E.⁹ Whitney (Charles Ryan⁸, Eliphalet⁷, Eliphalet⁶, Joshua⁵, Joshua⁴, Richard³, Richard², John¹), son of Charles Ryan⁸ and Diantha S. (Davis) Whitney, was born Sep 1854, Stamford, VT, and died after 1900.

He married firstly, 27 Nov 1873, Adams, MA, Hattie M. Goodrich.^[1] She was born about 1850, Adams, MA, and died 4 Sep 1875, Adams, MA, aged 25 years 5 months.^[2]

He married secondly, 13 May 1879, Great Barrington, MA, Celestia H. Myers.^[3]

He married thirdly, 3 Jan 1883, Jackson, MI, Ida Flora Pierce, daughter of Levi M. and Lydia Ann (Ackert) Pierce.^[4] She was born about 1849, or Apr 1858, Pittsfield, MA, and died after 1900.

Children of Charles E.⁹ and Hattie M. (Goodrich) Whitney, if any, unknown.

Children of Charles E.⁹ and Celestia H. (Myers) Whitney:

i.	Etta M.10 Whitney, b. ca. 25 Jul 1880, No. Adams, MA; d. 15 Sep 1880, Great Barrington, MA, aged 1 month 20 days, cause unknown.[5]

Charles E.⁹ and Ida Flora (Pierce) Whitney had no children.
