Cbarles E. Whitney (E.B.), son of E. B. and Amanda G. (-----) Whitney, was about 1854, Peterborough, NH, and died between 1880 and 1892.

He married firstly, 16 Mar 1875, Lyndeborough, NH, Ella F. Powers,^[1] daughter of William P. and Adaline (Smith) Powers. She was born 9 Apr 1857, Bennington, NH, and died 8 Jul 1877, aged 20 years 3 months, of consumption.^[2]

He married secondly, between 1877 and 1880, Ida A. Myers, daughter of Andrew and Mary (-----) Myers. She was born 6 Feb 1857, German Flatts, NY, and died 7 Sep 1914. She was buried in Armory Hiil Cemetery, Ilion, NY.^[3] She married secondly, about 1895, William Golden.
