Charles H.8 Whitney (John7, Charles6, John5, (poss.) Samuel4, John3, Benjamin2, John1), son of John7 and Sarah Jane (Pushor) Whitney, was born about 1840, ME, and died after 1870, and probably before 1876.
He apparently married firstly, before 1863, ----- -----.
He married, apparently secondly, 29 Dec 1868, Bangor, ME, Clara A. Sturtivant,[1] dau. of Oren Burrows and Mary T. (Nye) Sturdevant. She was born 25 Dec 1845, Shirley, ME, and died after 1930. She married secondly, 8 Oct 1876, Minneapolis, MN, Thomas W. Place.[2]
