Charles N.8 Whitney (Newton8, Nathan7, Salmon6, Jonas5, Jonas4, Moses3, Richard2, John1), son of Newton8 and Mary L. (Davis)(Hayward) Whitney, was born 3 Jan 1869, Holyoke, MA.
He married, 7 Sep 1893, Chicopee, MA (recorded in Holyoke, MA, and Northampton, MA), Florence L. Wrisley, daughter of Edgar J. and Mary J. (Vedigan) Wrisley.[1] She was born about 1868, Deerfield, MA.
He resided Chicopee.
Children of Charles N.8 and Florence L. (Wrisley) Whitney:
i. George E. N.10 Whitney, b. 18 Sep 1898, Holyoke, MA.[2] ii. Florence Whitney, b. 14 Sep 1902, Southampton, MA;[3] d. 27 Feb 1908, Holyoke, MA, aged 5 years 5 months 14 days, of diphtheria.[4] iii. Gladys Whitney, b. 1 Jul 1904, Holyoke, MA [given name omitted];[5] d. 11 Oct 1904, Holyoke, MA, aged 2 months 10 days, of gastroenteritis.[6]
