Daniel⁶ Whitney (Daniel⁵, Daniel⁴, Jonathan³, Jonathan², John¹), son of Daniel⁵ and Katy (Stone) Whitney,^[1] was born 4 Sep 1777, Shrewsbury, MA,^[2] and died 8 Oct 1851, Madrid, NY.

He married, 14 Jan 1802, Stamford, VT, Phebe Burlingame, parentage unknown. She was born ca. 1784, RI, and died 1860, Madrid, NY.

Albert and Daniel are assumed to be sons of Daniel and Phebe as they are buried in the same lot as Daniel and Phebe and align with the census reconstruction.
