Daniel Scudder7 Whitney (Scudder Valentine7, Daniel6, Darling5, Daniel4, Richard3, John2, Henry1), son of Scudder Valentine7 and Elizabeth (Titus) Whitney, was born 4 Nov 1855, Woodbury, NY, and died 7 Oct 1936. He was buried in Huntington Rural Cemetery, Huntington, NY.[1]

He married, about 1894, Maria Van Sise, daughter of Israel White and Hannah M. (Blatchley) Van Sise. She was born 26 Apr 1865, Woodbury, NY, and died 7 Nov 1934, Woodbury, NY. She was buried in Huntington Rural Cemetery, Huntington, NY.[2]

She was a life-long member of the Woodbury M. E. Church.
