Family:Whitney, Don Alonzo (1824-a1880)

Don Alonzo⁸ Whitney (Zabad⁷, Jonathan⁶, Peter⁵, Josiah⁴, Josiah³, [prob.] Benjamin², John¹), son of Zabad⁷ and Sophia (Dewey) Whitney, was born 27 Mar 1824, Tunbridge, VT, and died after 1880. He was buried in Centre Cemetery, Wareham, MA.^[1]

He "Alonzo D." married firstly, 15 Apr 1848, Lowell, MA, Adeline G. Bailey, daughter of Ephraim and Hannah (-----) Bailey.^[2] She was born about 1824, VT, and died 25 Nov 1888, Wareham, MA, aged 64 years 10 months 18 days, of consumption.^[3] She was buried in Centre Cemetery, Wareham, MA.^[4] There may have been a divorce, since he remarried long before her death.

He married secondly, between 1860 and 1870, Carrie -----. She was born about 1836, OH, and died after 1870.

He married thirdly, between 1870 and 1880, Marian -----. She was born about 1834, VT, and died after 1880.

He resided in California.
