Dudley8 Whitney (Joseph7, William6, William5, William4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of Joseph7 and Hannah (Perley) Whitney, was born 12 Jul 1802, Winchendon, MA,[1] and died 7 Sep 1831, Winchendon, MA, aged 29 years.[2]

Marriage intentions were published on 13 Sep 1829, Roxbury, MA, for him and Mary Shirley Shove,[3] daughter of William and Nancy (Shirley) Shove. She was born about 1808, Charlestown, MA, and died 25 Mar 1873, Boston, MA, aged 65 years 7 months, of anemia.[4]

i. Georgiana Selina9 Whitney, b. ca. Dec 1830, Roxbury, MA; d. 30 Mar 1876, Boston, MA, aged 45 years 3 months, of erysipelas;[5] m. bef. 1853, Edward Ashwell Teulon, b. 1 May 1828, Newfoundland, Canada; he was naturalized 4 Aug 1856.[6]
