Eben S. B.8 Whitney (Christopher7, Abraham6, Abraham5, Abraham4, Moses3, Richard2, John1), son of Christopher7 and Dolly (Brooks) Whitney, was born 12 Mar 1836, Stow, MA,[1] and died 14 Mar 1915, South Acton, MA, aged 79 years 2 days, of chronic valvular heart disease.[2].

He married, 19 Jan 1861, Lynn, MA, Sarah A. Willey, daughter of William and Tabatha (Mailey) Willey,[3] b. ca. 5 Sep 1840, Lynn, MA, and died 13 Sep 1903, Lynn, MA, aged 63 years 8 days, of adeno carcinoma uterus.[4]

Both are buried in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn, MA.[5]

He was a shoe manufacturer.

iv. Charles G. Whitney, b. Feb 1869, MA; m. Mary Agnes Maude Eldredge.
