Ebenezer⁷ Whitney (Ebenezer⁶, Ebenezer⁵, Samuel⁴, John³, Benjamin², John¹), son of Ebenezer⁶ and Charlotte (Parker) Whitney, was born 23 Dec 1823, Whitney, NB, and died 3 Sep 1889, Spearfish, SD.

He married, 25 Apr 1858, Plover, WI, Mary Jones. She was born about 1829, OH.

He went to Stevens Point, WI, 1851. Moved to Spearfish, Dakota Territory, about 1882. Ebenezer died at the Presbyterian Hospital, Chicago, IL.

i.	David L.8 Whitney; b. Apr 1859, WI; d. after 1900.
ii.	Charlotte Whitney; b. 10 Jul 1861, WI; d. 24 Mar 1882, Spearfish, Dakota Territory. She was also known as Lottie.
iii.	Lincoln Whitney, b. say 1864.
iv.	Robert Lincoln Whitney; b. Mar 1867, WI; d. after 1920; m. Mary -----.
v.	Richard G. Whitney, b. Aug 1871, WI; d. after 1920; m. Valada Lafayette.
