Ebenezer Whitney, son of an unknown father and Susanna Robinson, was born about 1747, Woburn, MA, and died 9 Sept 1806, Belchertown, MA.^[1]

He married firstly, 3 Jun 1767, Woburn, MA, Anna Simonds, parentage unknown. She was born say 1747, Woburn, MA, and died after 1779, Palmer, MA.

Intentions were published 12 Aug 1787, Palmer, MA, for him and his second wife, Eleanor Bliss.^[2] He married secondly, 12 Sep 1788, Belchertown, MA, widow Eleanor (Sikes) Bliss,^[3] daughter of Benjamin and Hannah (Chapin) Sikes. She was born 5 Mar 1749, Springfield, MA, and died 1814, Belchertown, MA, aged 70 years. She had married firstly, 5 Feb 1775, Northampton, MA, William Bliss, son of William and Experience (White) Bliss, who was born 22 Nov 1746, Springfield, MA, and died 16 Mar 1782, Belchertown, MA.

On 5 Mar 1762, Woburn, MA, Benjamin Wyman, yeoman, of Woburn, was appointed guardian of Ebenezer Whitney, in his 16th year, son of Sarah Robinson, now Sarah Simonds, of Woburn, and posted bond, with Ephraim Wyman, tanner, of Woburn as surety. On 3 Apr 1762, Ebenezer Whitney of Woburn chose Benjamin Wyman as his guardian.^[4]
