Edwin George Whitney (Remington Hobby, [prob.] Stephen⁶, Phineas⁵, Isaac⁴, Nathaniel³, Benjamin², John¹), son of Remington Hobby and Eliza (Weaver) Whitney, was born 24 Nov 1853, Burr Oak, MI, and died 15 Feb 1927, Cadillac, MI.

He married firstly, before 1874, Sarah Mitchel. She was born about 1855, IL, and died before 1880.

He married secondly, 30 May 1887, Cadillac, MI, Elizabeth Salina Frank. She was born 26 Jun 1864, Erie Co., NY, and died 16 May 1952, Cadillac, MI.
