Elizabeth4 Whitney (John3, Jonathan2, John1), daughter of John3 and Mary (Hapgood) Whitney, was born 29 Jan 1690/1, Sherborn[1] or Framingham, MA,[2] and died 4 Jul 1720 or 1728.[3]

Elizabeth married, circa 1713, Jonathan Willard, son of Jonathan and Mary (Brown) Willard. He was born 27 Jun 1693, Roxbury, MA, and died 1728. He married secondly, 23 Jan 1728/9, Cambridge, MA, Mary Cooke.

Pierce says the following:[4]

ELIZABETH [WHITNEY], b. Jan, 21, 1690; m. Jonathan WILLARD, b. at Roxbury, June 27, 1693. They resided at various places; they were in Sudbury 1710-11, Cambridge 1714-18, Roxbury 1718-21, Charlestown 1722-24, Worcester 1728-30. She d. in Worcester, July 4, 1730. Ch.: Mary, b. 1715; m. Apr. 28, 1743, Joseph RUTTER; Abigail, b. Sept. 18, 1716; m. James MANN, of Natick; Daniel, b. 1718; m. Rachel WHEELOCK and Mrs. Elizabeth (MANNING) BAILEY; Jonathan, b. 1720; m. Sarah CHILDS and Mrs. STARK; John, b. 1720; m. Elizabeth ELDER; Josiah, b. Oct. 16, 1722; Benjamin, b. 1725; m. Mary RICE.

Children of Jonathan and Elizabeth4 (Whitney) Willard:

i. Mary Willard, b. circa 1715, Cambridge, MA; m. Joseph Rutter.
ii. Abigail Willard, b. 18 Sep 1716, Cambridge, MA; m. James Mann.
iii. Daniel Willard, b. 8 Jun 1719, Roxbury, MA; m.(1) Rachel Wheelock; m.(2) Elizabeth Manning.
iv. Jonathan Willard, b. 26 Oct 1720, Roxbury, MA; m.(1) Sarah Childs; m.(2) Sarah Loomis; m.(3) Mrs. ----- Stark.
v. John Willard, b. 26 Oct 1720, Roxbury, MA; m. Elizabeth Elder.
vi. Josiah Willard, b. 16 Oct 1722, Charlestown, MA; d. 25 Jun 1739, Charlestown, MA.
vii. Benjamin Willard, b. 5 Jan 1724, Cambridge, MA; m. Mary Rice.
